PIZARRO 10, CACERES - 10003, CACERES, ESPAÑA (Show map) The hotel was developed with respect for the original make-up of the building, with the 18 guest rooms replacing the original rooms in the house and the restaurant in place of the existing dining rooms and lounges, which affords the hotel an intimate and cosy atmosphere. Originally built in 1877 and renovated in 2009, the air-conditioned historical hotel offers guests the Albarragena's Tower restaurant, The Stable bar serving tapas, and the Albarragena's Pantry shop, all of which feature produce from the region. Further facilities include 24-hour reception and check-out services, a terrace and garden, a cloakroom, lift access, a pub and café, free WLAN Internet access throughout the hotel, a social lounge and a small library. Guests may also make use of the laundry service (fees apply) and room service. Location
At present this historical hotel occupies lots 10 and 12 of Pizarro Street, and is just a few metres from Santa Clara square, one of the principal accesses in the heart of this historical city. The Old town is just a 5-minute walk from the city hotel. Merida is approximately 60 km from the hotel and the beach in Huelva is around 300 km away.

- La unica pega que le hemos encontrado, es que deben de mejorar el aislamiento acustico, en las ventanas que dan a la calle pizarro, ya que al ser una calle con pub y demas, el sonido es molesto.

- Amplias habitaciones y con una decoracion muy bonita basada en muebles antiguos. Dificil de localizar pues esta al lado de la ciudad antigua lo que resulta un inconveniente pero una gran ventaja para poderla visitar facilmente.

- Sólo 3 inconvenientes. El primero es que deben especiaficar con claridad meridiana que no dispone de parking y que se debe dejar el coche en uno privado, con el consiguiente gasto. El segundo, que la calle es peatonal y no es fácil de encontrar si no conoces Cáceres. Y por último, considero que deberían mantener mejor la limpieza del hotel. Es una pena que muebles tan bonitos tengan polvo en las molduras o que se vean deslucidos a falta de una manita de cera. Pero lo más importante son los baños, deberían revisar por ejemplo,que no queden restos en los baldosines de la bañera de la persona que se duchó anteriormente o que la cal del agua deja un hilo también en los baldosines y que con sólo pasar bien un estropajo con lejía y jabón desaparece la mancha. A pesar de estos inconvenientes subsanables, el hotel Albarragena tiene un escanto especial, sobre todo en la primera planta. La rehabilitación por parte del arquitecto es muy buena y merece la pena.
